What in the hell happened to this event?

"Bring Out Your Builds!
It's time to do a swap-out on some of the PvP Pre-builds. We're looking for effective new character templates to offer to players choosing a quick-start character for PvP play. In order to get the best and freshest builds, those guilds in the Top 20 of the Guild Wars ladder as of 11:59 PST on Sunday, December 4th, will be invited to send us a character build. Then, the player community will vote on their favorites and several templates will be incorporated into the game. We'll have more information on the Bring out Your Builds Challenge soon, but in the meantime, keep on with the GvG and start thinking about what your template will be!"

It's still posted on the events page, but I sure haven't heard anything about it recently...

Don't really care...thinking of your own builds is a lot more fun anyway...and the noobs steal the builds from the high ranked guilds anyway...

Well, I liked them anyway, and I'd just like a new set of builds, plus it worries me when ANet doesn't follow up on what they say, which they usually do. One useful thing with the pre-builds is that they allowed me to use a few skills I hadn't unlocked yet, like OoB with the Boon Mo/N, even if I used mostly my own build. It also makes it easier to play classes of which I don't have a PvE character of, and I'd just like to try some others besides they 12 that they've had for months.

It already happened. The last 2-3 Builds on the template page are the Winners of that contest.

The Fi Boon Healer, IVEX Trapper, etc.

Nope, those were added in the summer, and this contest started in November
